Look Good ... Feel Better is a national program that helps cancer patients deal with the appearance-related changes that come with their diagnosis. The program offers patients the chance to learn hands-on makeover tips from a cosmetology professional at no charge.

Look Good ... Feel Better is administered by the American Cancer Society and is held at 10 a.m. on the second Friday of each month at the UAMS Family Home. Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their session, which lasts between 60-90 minutes.

Each participant receives a free kit containing brand-name cosmetics and has the opportunity to try on wigs, hats and turbans.
