Cancer Institute Auxiliary Cooks Tour
UAMS Cooks Tour for Cancer

Cooks Tour was founded with a two-fold purpose: to raise funds to support research, patient care and education at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and to increase public awareness of cancer prevention.

Cooks Tour to Benefit Cancer Patients at UAMS

Mark your calendars now for 19th annual Cooks Tour weekend of events! This year's tour will be held April 16 and 18, 2010.
Stay tuned for ticket sales in mid-March!

Cooks Tour weekend will kick off April 16 with the Patrons’ Cocktail Buffet at the home of Mary Kay and Jim East. Robert Fincher, M.D., director of the UAMS Breast Center, will be our honoree.  Dr. Fincher has pioneered almost every breast imaging procedure in the state of Arkansas. Enjoy an evening of good music, good food and good friends for a good cause!

The tour of homes will take place April 18 in the beautiful neighborhood of Orle, located within Chenal Valley.  The Orle neighborhood offers boundless charm with views of Bear Den Mountain.  Come and view these beautiful estates and enjoy the culinary delights of local executive chefs from some of Little Rock’s best-known restaurants.  The executive chefs prepare dishes in each of the homes for our tour participants to enjoy.  You won’t want to miss this mouth-watering event as you tour the beautiful homes of Orle.
