The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Auxiliary provides information, service, compassion and hope to those whose lives are touched by cancer.
Printable Volunteer Application
The Auxiliary membership includes more than 550 individuals, many of whom are regularly involved in day-to-day patient support services and special events.
Auxiliary members participate in fundraising efforts that have resulted in raising more than $160,000 each year.
Money raised by the Auxiliary is distributed in the form of grants to the Cancer Institute, the UAMS Family Home and Auxiliary Cancer Support Center, or other cancer-related projects. Click here to see where our donations are spent.
Patient care volunteers serve as hosts or hostesses in the Myeloma Institute, Cancer Institute and infusion waiting areas. They also guide patients to their destinations and staff the Cancer Institute Auxiliary Gift Shop.
Episodic or special event volunteers work at cancer screenings, on fundraising committees, at Cooks Tour and for Partners Card.
