We offer a free yoga and relaxation class for patients, caregivers and staff from 2 – 3 p.m. each Thursday in Walton Auditorium, 10thfloor.
A typical session involves deep breathing exercises, light stretching and a neck massage using relaxing essential oils.
Yoga has been shown to help reduce anxiety, depression, stress and fatigue. It has also been shown to help improve quality of sleep, overall mood and social, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Wesley Pilcher and Kayce Johnson from Arkansas Yoga Collective are class leaders. Mats are provided, and no experience is necessary.
