“As a physician, I believe that the Seed of Hope takes our patients away from the fear that comes with their initial diagnosis and toward a sense of hope for the future.  It helps them see that there is meaning to what they’ve experienced, and that through all of their hopes, prayers and fears, there was a happy ending waiting for them.

It gives our patients a milestone and offers them a chance to think about what they’ve gone through and what their next journey will be.

I want to be there with my patients to see the expression on their faces when they toss their token. It reminds us that as doctors our ultimate hope is for remission and cure for every patient.”
