Rhonda Ellis | Clear Cell Chondrosarcoma Survivor

“I used to be a runner. About five years ago, when I was 35 years old, I was having pain and popping in my hip. My running buddy suggested that I see a doctor about it.

I went to three doctors before finding Dr. Richard Nicholas. He diagnosed me with a low- grade cartilage neoplasm in my hip. I had hip reconstruction and a total hip arthroplasty.

I bounced back quickly from my surgery, although I’m not able to run anymore. I would tell anyone who is newly diagnosed with cancer just to pray and never give up.”
