Earla Hopper | Multiple Myeloma Survivor

Earla Hopper Multiple myeloma survivor
“I work as a nurse in a plant in south Arkansas and was feeling very tired. I first saw a doctor in Monticello and then came here to UAMS. That was in October 2010.

I was diagnosed with high-risk multiple myeloma. I’ve finished my treatments, and in a month I come back to start the maintenance program.

You shouldn’t ignore pain or changes in your body. Women sometimes think that pain is normal as you grow older, but it’s not.

I look forward to getting back to a normal life with my family.”
