Larry D. Davis | Squamous cell carcinoma survivor

“I had knots on the outside of my neck that kept getting bigger.  I went to my family doctor and he sent us to an ear, nose and throat doctor in North Little Rock.

She had to do surgery on the right side of my neck to see what it was. We found out that it was cancer — squamous cell carcinoma.

She referred me to Dr. Brendan Stack at UAMS. He was great, and my radiation doctor, Dr. Muhammad Yousaf, was a fantastic person. The whole staff in general did whatever they could for us. I was very satisfied.

Now I’ve been in remission for five years. When you find you have a problem, get it taken care of quickly or it could get worse.”
