Alfreeda Marshall | Lymphoma survivor

“With the encouragement and inspiration of others, I knew I could get through my treatment.

In 2008, I was diagnosed with lymphoma in my eye. I was referred to Dr. Anne-Marie Maddox in the Cancer Institute by Dr. Christopher Westfall in the Jones Eye Institute at UAMS. I underwent radiation treatment with Dr. Jose Pena.

Then, in 2009, the lymphoma spread to my breast, which I was told is very uncommon.

Today I’m celebrating my healing. UAMS is the place to come.”
