Bobby Creech | Non-Hodgkin lymphoma

Bobby Creech

“I had been having problems for a while but was never able to be diagnosed at home in Texas.
When I first came to UAMS, they weren’t sure what was wrong, but they were committed to finding out.

After being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, they told me I would need about four to six treatments. After my first few treatments I felt so good that I jokingly told the doctor I didn’t need to come back for any more.

I would tell anyone with non-Hodgkin lymphoma to come to UAMS for treatment. I was treated so well here. When I would have blood work done, there was someone always asking if I needed a blanket because it can get cold. The people here are all really caring.

Another important part of battling cancer is having a wonderful wife to help take care of you. My wife and I have been together for over 40 years. She has helped me through this whole process and without her I wouldn’t be here.”
