Connie Antley | Ovarian Cancer Survivor

I wasn’t feeling well and was having some medical issues. My doctor started to do a hysterectomy, but just closed me back up and told me I had Stage 4 ovarian cancer.

Today is my last day of chemo, and I’m cancer free. Having cancer was a good thing because it made me have more faith in God. I can’t do it without Him. It also brought me closer to my family and to my church family.

The people here at UAMS are awesome. God sent me here. They prayed with me, and that helped me. It gave me more faith.
