“The faith that I’ve always had in God has made me see that He’s going to take care of me.

My faith and especially my grandchildren — I’ve got six of them — have kept me going. I’m anxious to get over the fatigue and the nausea and so I can go to the water park with them. I can go to Six Flags with them. I can go to the zoo and not have fear of getting sick.

I want other people to know that there’s hope. The Myeloma Institute is the place to be. The research that’s done here is so important. If your life can be saved, they will do it. Everyone who is employed here has a special gift for nurturing cancer patients.

I feel like the best is yet to come.”
