Frances Egelanian | Multiple Myeloma Survivor

“I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 1998. Having cancer has made my faith stronger. I look to God first and then to my doctor.

When you’re facing a cancer diagnosis, you have to have hope and faith. You also need to think of the future. That has always helped me. Suffering isn’t always the hardest part. Sometimes it’s keeping your chin up and choosing to have a good day, every day.

My husband and I have been together for 54 years, and I know I couldn’t have done this without him. Now I plan on doing more of the volunteer work that I enjoy.”
