Colleen Johnston | Bladder Cancer Survivor

“After having bladder cancer for three years, I am now starting to feel normal again. I knew something was wrong because I kept getting one urinary tract infections after another, and I started losing weight.

I was diagnosed in 2012 in North Carolina. After I moved back to Arkansas I started coming to the Cancer Institute and had an eight-hour surgery with no problems at all. I also underwent chemo. I’m doing great now. I’m a firm believer in prayer and that it has everything to do with my well-being. God has always had my back.”
