Carmelitta Thompson | Multiple myeloma survivor

“Since having cancer, the little things mean so much to me. I look everywhere around me, and I see small things that matter. My faith in Jesus and the people who were by my side gave me the support I needed. I am thankful for my doctor, the staff, other patients and my friends.

I would tell someone who is diagnosed with cancer to come to Little Rock! Friends suggested we come here for treatment, and we’ve recommended UAMS to several people. The staff always took time to make sure I knew they cared about me.

I’m living life more fully now. I’m more grateful and rarely complain. Participating in the Seed of Hope ceremony was wonderful beyond words!”
