Edna Wade | Pancreatic Cancer Survivor

“Having pancreatic cancer has made me more appreciative and more compassionate of others. My walk with God is stronger. He has put an angel in my path.

When you first get a cancer diagnosis, it is frightening. Take it to the Lord to get the courage and strength to keep you on the journey. Surround yourself with positive people if possible.

I had the support of my family, faith, friends and the amazing staff at UAMS! The staff made me feel at ease and answered all my questions. I was very scared and did not know what to expect, but they were all so positive.

I’m thankful to the Lord for the many blessings He has given me, including the time I can spend with my family and friends.”
