Robin Robinson | Cancer Survivor

“My sister is a registered nurse. I called and told her I was having problems, and she told me to go to the emergency room at UAMS. I walked in there on Friday and the following Thursday I was diagnosed with cancer. They started my treatment right then and four months later I’m cancer free.

Everyone at UAMS has been wonderful. They explain everything in detail. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The doctors really care about you. Dr. Peacock said he wanted to see me every week so I could tell him how I was feeling and what I was concerned about. Not every doctor does that.

If something’s not right, go get it check out. I was diagnosed early, and if I had waited, who knows what would have happened.”

I’m looking forward to spending time with my grandkids.”
