Research Interest Statement

My research interests are broadly in the area of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. Specifically we study essential proteins involved in DNA damage response and repair processes (DDR). Using fragment-based screening and computer-aided drug design techniques, we develop small molecule inhibitors and chemical tool compounds of these essential proteins to provide a greater understanding of the mechanisms of DDR and of chemotherapeutic drug resistance.
