Auxiliary Grants

Major Contributions from the Cancer Institute Auxiliary total $2,928,226.

  • $1,843,189 to support the important and life-changing programs of the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute
  • $574,650 to the Home for Healing  Center (The Auxiliary is the largest non-grant monetary donor to the Family Home)
  • $200,000 for a Digital Mammogram Machine
  • $25,000 for the Myeloma Center waiting room
  • $25,000 sponsorship of the 1999 Charles William Rasco, III Endowed Symposium on Oncology
  • $22,000 to Dr. Steve Harms’ Breast Imaging Project
  • $93,429 from Miracle Stars to the Patient Support Fund
  • $10,000 to the Cancer Institute Healing Garden Leadership & Legacy Project in honor of  Drs. Westbrook, Barlogie and Suen
  • $41,485 for the Seed of Hope and Tokens
  • $6,650 for Care Caps Project
