Forging Collaborations: Bridging Gaps in Cancer Research

The first Winthrop P Rockefeller Cancer Institute Retreat will be held Thursday May 2nd, 7:30am-6:30pm at Heifer International in downtown Little Rock. The theme for this retreat is “Forging Collaborations: Bridging Gaps in Cancer Research.” The retreat will feature a Keynote Address from Dr. Jennifer Grandis from the University of California, San Francisco and short talks from UAMS cancer researchers. The day will conclude with a Poster Session showcasing cancer research being conducted across the UAMS campus. This will be a great opportunity to learn about basic, clinical, translational and population science cancer research being conducted at UAMS, and begin to forge new collaborations! Breakfast, lunch and a wine and cheese reception will be provided during the event for those that register in advance. Seating is limited.
