THRIVE participants will be randomly assigned to either a six-month weight-loss program or a six-month quality of life program. Both programs are group based, will meet regularly, and will be led by trained community leaders.
THRIVE is currently seeking females aged 18 or older who live in Arkansas and have had stage 0-III breast cancer diagnosed in the past five years, completed their primary treatment at least one month ago, are overweight, are generally healthy, and are not on medication that can affect weight loss.
