About the Program
The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has developed a Cancer Patient Navigation Program dedicated to improving cancer care for every Arkansan. You do not need to receive care at UAMS to participate in the program.
The Cancer Institute’s Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient support and navigation services across the state. The team is led by Shalanda Caradine, MBA, who serves as the Executive Director, and Beverly Johnson, the Assistant Patient Navigation Director. The COE team comprises 11 patient navigators, four nurse navigators, and administrative staff all strategically placed to ensure state-wide coverage.
