KL2 Cancer Institute Funded William Lu

The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute has partnered with Laura James, MD & TRI to fund an institutional scholar in the KL2 Scholar program.

TRI Scholar Awards provide two years of didactic and mentored research training for junior faculty. 

Yong-Chen “William”Lu, Ph.D. is this year’s WPRCI-KL2 scholar award recipient for his project entitled: A pilot study of developing T cell based cancer immunotherapies for African American and Hispanic Populations
