Join the Auxiliary

The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Auxiliary seeks to provide information, service, compassion and hope to those whose lives are touched by cancer. The Auxiliary membership includes more than 450 individuals, many of whom are regularly involved in day-to-day patient support services and special events. Members participate in fundraising efforts that have resulted in raising more than $160,000 each year.

Annually, the Cancer Institute Auxiliary selects one outstanding volunteer as Volunteer of the Year. These volunteers give unselfishly of their time and talents to improve the lives of cancer patients and their families.

Money raised by the Auxiliary is distributed in the form of grants to the Cancer Institute, the UAMS Family Home, and the Auxiliary Cancer Support Center or other cancer-related projects. See where our donations are spent.
