This is a first-in-human Phase 1 trial evaluating HWK-016, an antibody-drug conjugate that targets MUC16 (also known as CA-125), a protein commonly overexpressed on ovarian cancer and other tumor cells. The study is sponsored by Whitehawk Therapeutics, the same company developing the PTK7-directed HWK-007 in your prior row, and follows a similar first-in-human design intended to establish safety and identify a recommended dose for further study in patients with advanced solid tumors.
