New Developments in Oncology Meeting

May 2, 2025, from 8:25 a.m. to 3:25 p.m., on the 10th floor of the Walton Auditorium, with breakfast at 7:45 a.m.

About the New Developments in Oncology Meeting

In conjunction with the 2025 Be a Part of the Cure Walk, the Cancer Institute will be hosting New Developments in Oncology Meeting, an all-day meeting focused on sharing major new therapeutic developments in oncology.

This is also a free continuing medical education event offering ACCME, ACPE and ANCC credits to attendees. See below for more information.

Objectives include:

  1. New developments in lung cancer
  2. The use cellular therapy in cancer
  3. New therapeutic advances in breast cancer
  4. New therapeutic developments in GI cancers
  5. Describe new therapeutic advances in GU cancers
  6. Describe new therapeutic developments in Gynecological cancer

Speakers and topics include:

Continuing Education Credit

To claim credit fill out the course evaluation survey within 14 days of the event. You will receive your certificate via email from the CE office within 60 days, or you can access your transcript through your CloudCME account.

In support of improving patient care, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center to provide continuing education for the health care team.

Credit Designation Statements

AMA Credit Designation Statement

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ANCC Credit Designation Statement

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.5 ANCC contact hours. Nursing contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of program components based upon documented attendance and completion of evaluation materials.

ACPE Credit Designation Statement

These knowledge-based activities will provide pharmacists up to 5.5 contact hours or 0.55 CEU. CE credit information, based on verification of live attendance and completion of the program evaluation, will be provided to NABP within 60 days after the activity completion.
