Over the past two years, we have expanded our collaboration with Little Rock Central High School, one of the premier high schools in the state and nation (In 2021 US News best ranking it is 1,849 nationally; #15 in Arkansas high schools and #2 in public high schools in Little Rock School District).
LRCHS has a long history of running an outstanding school science fair. Moreover, their faculty including Mr. Foley and Dr. Maris are active in the region and state science and engineering fairs. Ms. Ronnel noticed me judging the Little Rock Central High Science fair with a cadre of graduate students. She reached out to formalize the relationship between the Cancer Institute and LRCHS. We have completed the forms signed by the principal, Ms. Rousseau and myself to formally be partners in the education of science students 9-12 grades.
