Waiting Room Volunteers
Volunteers in this position serve patients and their families in the waiting areas by helping them check-in, making and serving coffee, distributing snacks, visiting with patients
Gift Shop
Volunteers in this area assist gift shop staff and customers with sales, wrapping, pricing items and cashier duties. All proceeds go to the Auxiliary Grants Program.
Most Vital Pal
The Most Vital Pal (MVP) is a volunteer who is paired with a new Myeloma patient for the entirety of his or her first day on the UAMS campus.
Summer Teen Volunteer Program
Each summer, the Cancer Institute Volunteer Services Office hosts the Summer Teen Volunteer Program. If you are between 16-18 years of age, you are welcome to apply.

Volunteers in this area welcome patients and guests as they enter the Pavilion, give directions, assist with educational materials, facilitate wig fittings, and more.
Sit & Knit
Knitters and crocheters are welcome to join in making hats for our patients each Wednesday afternoon. All supplies are provided through the Auxiliary Grants Program.
Tunes
Musicians can share their talent on the grand piano in the first floor atrium of the Cancer Institute, or bring their own instruments to play.
Wayfinding
Volunteers greet patients and visitors in the lobby on the first floor, help patients to get them to their appropriate clinic.
