Welcome to Growing Hope
UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute is excited to welcome Survivors to the Growing Hope Area featured at the Be a Part of the Cure Walk. This designated area is made to welcome survivors and one registered guest to give them an area to visit and share their stories with those alike. This area will feature special complimentary food, coffee, and other beverages, along with a gift for visiting.
Important Information for Survivors
- Check “Yes, I am a Survivor” when registering for a special Survivor shirt
- Survivor Parking will be located in the first two rows closest to Gate 1 at War Memorial Stadium starting at 6:30 a.m.
- Survivor Meet & Greet begins at 7 a.m.
- Survivor photo will be taken at 8:00 a.m. near the start line on the field.
- Both the 1K & 5K loops are ADA/handicap accessible. Survivors and guests are more than welcome to stay on the field if they are not comfortable walking. We will have many vendors and educational tables located on the field to visit.
